DIY Sgraffito Cheese Boards
April 14 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm$150.00
About the Class:
Sgraffitto is an ancient technique meaning “to scratch away”. Learn about this wonderfully satisfying technique working first on a test tile then moving on to your Leather Hard Cheese board. Participants will paint with underglaze and “scratch” a design into your piece. You can create your own design in advance or use one of our many stencils to help in the design process!! Cheese Boards will be glazed and fired by Kettle Creek Pottery, in Stroudsburg, PA. Boards will be available for pick up at Sycamore and Stone 3-4 weeks after class date!
About the Artist:
